The Gates Cambridge Scholarship Programme is a highly selective and prestigious scholarship that offers full funding to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.
The scholarship was established in 2000 by a donation of US$210m from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, making it the largest ever single donation to a UK university. The Gates Cambridge Scholarship application process typically opens in September and closes in January. The deadline for applications for the 2024/2025 academic year is January 4, 2024.
How to Apply
To apply for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship, you must submit an application for admission and funding (Gates Cambridge and other funding) via the University’s Graduate Application Portal.
